City of Morris Fire Department

The Morris Fire Protection and Ambulance District is staffed by 45 part-time firefighters and 18 full-time EMS providers.  The firefighters have two fundraisers each year; a spaghetti dinner in the spring and a carnival in the summer.  Please help support your local emergency responders by attending these fundraisers.


Morris Hospital

Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers has been improving the health of area residents since 1906. Located on West High Street in Morris, the 87-bed Morris Hospital serves residents of Grundy County and parts of Will, LaSalle, Livingston, and Kendall counties. The hospital has 800 employees, 300 volunteers, and a medical staff of approximately 180 physicians representing most medical specialties. Visit the Morris Hospital website for more information.


Secretary of State Facility

A Secretary of State facility is located on Sycamore Street in Morris. The facility offers services such as driver's license issuance, motorcylce road testing, organ donor registry, vehicle registration, and voter registration. Parking

There is a two-hour time limit to parking on city streets. Cars must be moved or a ticket will be issued. There are five city parking lots located throughout the town where 8 hour parking is allowed.

Morris Senior Van Program

To schedule a ride, please call the Public Works Department at (815) 942-5063 or (815) 942-5064. Ride charges are $5.00 for 25 rides, or 25 cents per ride each way.
Senior Van Hours: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. 10 A.M. to 1:45 P.M.
